Oxford Hotel, Denver, Colorado

Originally constructed in 1891. Colorado’s leading architect, Frank E. EdBrooke, designed this five-story brick structure the year before he designed the Brown Palace. Train travel declined at Union Station and skid row crept into lower downtown. Only after the success of Larimer Square in the 1960's did people awaken to the possibilities for resurrecting the grand architecture of Colorado's silver age.

80 elegant hotel guest rooms, decorated in European antiques. Amenities include 24 hour Room Service, 100% cotton linens, in room CD players and hotel car service in the downtown area. Morning coffee and evening sherry are served daily in the lobby.

Rooms have either a King or Queen size, Pillow-top mattress, decorated in French and English Victorian décor, with selected rooms having a decorative fireplace. Located on the exterior of the hotel, Victorian Deluxe rooms overlook either 17th or Wazee Street with views of the Lower Downtown area. 374 sq ft
