National historical designated property and is celebrating its 122nd year of continuous lodging & guest ranch operations. It is the oldest guest ranch still operating in the Rocky Mountain Region, and the oldest continuously operating hotel in Colorado. The Ranch was originally settled in the late 1860's, and, during the early 1870's, determined that guests were more hospitable than cattle, and the Lodge owners started adding guest cabins in 1874, including Estes Park's first church and school house.
The Lodge, located 2 blocks from the Town center, has a lodging capacity approximating 200 persons. The Main Lodge represents high living from the 1890's era, and the 30 various outlying cabins, ranging in size from 4 bedroom to only a small unit for couples, are rustic reminders of yesteryear, with the luxury of indoor plumbing.
Heated swimming pool, horseshoe competitions, and a volley ball court.
