
A restored New England country manor, the Simsbury 1820 House is located in Farmington Valley on the crest of a hill overlooking Simsbury. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this New England homestead was built by Elijah Phelps in 1820.
The inn's 34 guest rooms are decorated with period fabrics and antiques, all with Down featherbeds and comforters, Down pillows, and Belgian linen sheets. Guest rooms are equipped with TV/VCR, direct dial phones with computer ports and have full private baths with hairdryers and ironing boards. Many rooms have 4 poster mahogany beds with canopies.
