Hotel located in the center of the Key West, Florida, the southernmost city in the continental United States. One block from Duval Street. Formerly the largest private estate in Old Town, the property, built in 1800, underwent a complete renovation in 1993. The result is a 17 room hotel set within the walls of a tropical botanical garden.
The buildings are typical of the 19th century architectural style for which Old Town is known, with wide ceiling-fanned porches opening onto brickwork garden paths. The rooms are decorated in traditional European style with floral chintzes and hardwood floors, while providing such modern amenities as marble bathrooms with Jacuzzi bathtubs, mini bars, telephones, bathrobes and Nina Ricci toiletries.
