Once the home of ship captain William Hazard Northup. It was built for him on a shady lot in downtown Pensacola, where he could keep an eye on his business interests. During Captain Northup's career on land, he served as a bank president, Postmaster General of Pensacola, Mayor of Pensacola, and helped found the city's Philharmonic Orchestra. His home, with its hardwood floors and paneling, chandeliers, and Victorian nuances, was a gathering place for the leaders of turn-of-the-century Pensacola.
Today Victorian Bed and Breakfast is run by Innkeepers Chuck and Barbee Major. The Majors have nearly a half century of experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
Four beautifullly funished guest rooms, each with its own private bath, cable TV, and outlet for a phone or computer. Phones are available at your request. A fax machine is also available.
