
Opened in 2001, Le Meridien Hotel Chicago brings timeless European style to Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Formerly the McGraw Hill building, the structure was declared a City of Chicago landmark in 1997 and marks the largest reconstruction of a landmark facade in the history of Chicago. Constructed with Indiana limestone and cut from the same quarries as the Empire State building and Tribune Tower, the historical facade depicts figures from ancient mythology and the zodiac.
