Built in 1898 with all the grandeur of the Victorian age as a wedding gift for his new bride, this shingle-styled mansion was originally the residence of Charles H. Berry, a prominent local merchant. Tree-lined and well-manicured lawns accented by colorful perennial garden beds beckon a game of croquet.
The elegant Victorian decor is enhanced by antiques and period reproductions. Morning juice and coffee is served in the library. Other comfortable gathering places include parlors and a front porch. All of the guest bedrooms feature fireplaces, whirlpool or clawfoot tubs, bathrobes, fine linens and candles, some also offer double shower heads and sitting areas.
