A full-service Inn. All of the twenty five rooms have private baths; most have a porch or deck. The Inn is in Chilmark, Martha's Vineyard's smallest town, an up-Island residential community. The property comprises 56 acres of former farmland now characterized by traditional cape architecture, gardens of flowers and vegetables. The acreage is contained by a mile of glacial stone walls and abuts more than 2,000 acres of conservation land to the East.
The Inn at Blueberry Hill was orginally the Hammett Family farm, settled in 1691. The clean lines of the renovated Inn fit in the landscape which is rich in natural assets. The Main House Lot is defined by a stone wall which includes the Inn, gardens. Ceiling fans and white cotton bed linens , hand painted furniture and the works of local artists are scattered throughout.
There are twenty-five rooms with one to three-bedroom suites and cottages, nearly all with private terraces and balconies.
The Fitness Room is complete with aerobic equipment and Cybextm weight equipment. 25-yard lap pool and Jacuzzi, tennis court and croquet lawn. Spa services include a variety of revitalizing facial and body treatments.
