Bed and Breakfast Inn on the National Historic Registry and is located in Biloxi, Mississippi. Its eclectic rooflines and classic Greek Revival detail make it a truly unique beach house. Built circa 1841, it is one of the oldest remaining structures on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the one time home of Father Abram Ryan, Poet Laureate of the Confederacy. It was here that Father Ryan wrote some of his best known poetry such as "Sea Rest" and "Sea Reverie." The house and the grounds have been restored and furnished according to that period.
All accommodations include a full complimentary breakfast, a private bath, cable television and a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico, the gardens or the courtyard and pool. The house is situated across from the white sand beach of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Swim in the pool, take a walk on the beach, stroll in the grounds, or sit in the shade of the historic Father Ryan Palm.
