Since its grand opening in 1904, the Murrays Hotel guest registry has included Buffalo Bill and Calamity Jane, in what was once "the" elegant railroad hotel. Built originally for an heir to the Burlington railroad fortune.
Now restored, the Murray also plays its traditional part as a gathering and mixing place for local people.
