Built by architect Horace Porter nearly 60 years ago, Happy Trails is a spacious, L-shaped ranch house constructed of genuine Mexican adobe walls with blue portals and sky blue territorial style roofs.
As a guest, you will have your choice of two suites with queen size beds. They all feature cream colored adobe walls with hand painted designs by a local artist Priscilla Sandoval and mesquite and juniper wood paneling. The two bedroom suite opens onto a glass walled sunroom which leads to a walled courtyard and a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The pool wall is adorned with a life like mural of a pecan orchard under a thundercloud sky, also by Priscilla.
During the day, you can stroll around the grounds which include a seven stall stable and corrals with boarding horses.
