The Benjamin Hotel offers a modern design that extends to every
detail of the hotel's guest suites. Rooms are decorated in shades of cream and
taupe with mahogany-finished furnishings. Beds feature custom-designed mattresses
covered in Frette linens and a down-filled duvet, and guests may choose from
the hotel’s menu of ten different pillows. Each room features a complete
office center.
The Benjamin was named for Benjamin J. Denihan, Sr., founder of Manhattan East
Suite Hotels, who turned a small family dry cleaning business into a successful
company and later, a collection of New York hotels. Today, 10 hotels are owned
and operated by his three sons, daughter, nephew and son-in-law.
